So the studios have been relocated to some far off campus, only that they won't be ready until two weeks later, and the lab hasn't finished renovations yet. Of course, leave it up to the uni admin to muck up everything before the semester even starts.

Well the library and the two new lifts are done, so...

I remember this paraphrased conversation I was eavesdropping on during youth, and somehow, I didn't jump in and put my 2 cents in. Not that I had to.

D: It can't be as bad as what happened to this guy. Apparently he committed suicide after he dived into the stage.
O: As in, he dived into the stage, and he died?
D: Yeah.
D: It was actually deliberate.
D: Who was it again?
D: I remember they sung this song, it went something like, 'I wanna dance the way I feel'.
O: Maybe it was La Roux?
Me: (thinking to myself) It's not La Roux, why the hell did she die from diving into the stage?
D: Yeah, La Roux I guess, one of the band members. Apparently it was the lead singer.
Me: (thinking to myself) Wait...you guys are dumb, it's the Oust es-something Swimming Pool band.
D: How do you pronounce it? La Roooo? Roouuu?
Me: (still thinking) OSTTT ESTT SWIMMING POOL! YOU FAIL GUYS YOU FAIL!
D: Actually he dived into the stage, and then committed suicide in the carpark, because he thought he severely injured another girl.
Me: (frustrated and thinking) WHHHYYYY????

(Actually the band is actually called 'Ou Est Le Swimming Pool', and interestingly enough, La Roux toured with them. Don't be surprised if you haven't heard of them, because this happened last year.)

I think I'm extremely socially awkward, but sometimes when I have a conversation with someone they usually resort to the old 'what do I study' since they don't know where to begin. So almost every conversation I have with somebody usually resorts to 'so what do architects do?'. I'm not an architect. But I continue on a limb.

My typical conversation with an engineering student goes like this:

Engineer: Oh you study architecture?
Me: Yup.
E: Oh, the dudes who make buildings pretty?
Me: Yup.
E: Architects are so unreasonable eh? That's what they tell you in Engineering. They make those annoying structures that hardly stand up, and then we engineers are told to make it stand up. Sigh.
Me: Yup. I know. In architecture school, the teachers couldn't care less. They just tell us we can design anything we want as long as it looks good, and they tell us we can leave the engineers to do the rest.

Why Did I Make Them So Tiny?

Again, me being noob at baking, piped my choux pastry expecting it to rise heaps. Obviously, that didn't happen.

So now I have a problem; how should I fill those tiny things?
