I went to an annual church camp a few days ago and it was great, and I just got back from it. Usually said camp provokes an out pour of emotional blog posts detailing what I did/what happened (similar to a just as emotional event that happens twice in the year and also known as folio), but I won't go into that yet.
Anyway, I made something on the bake list again...
It's some trifle, which is technically a summer dessert, not a winter dessert. Regardless, I chose the trifle over originally making mousse, because I wanted to use up the remains of the savoaradi left over from making tiramisu. Didn't have an ideal glass bowl to place the dessert in though, so I had to use a left over plastic container.
That said, I never tried it, I brought it out and it was all gone by the time I attended to it, which was half my intentions since I had made it on the last day of camp and needed people to eat all it up. From what I've heard it's delicious, but maybe they're being nice to me.
