Reading List

1. Invisible Cities, Italo Calvino
2. Infinite Jest, David Foster Wallace (This book wins the prize for the book that has taken the most longest to read so far in my life)
3. Metamorphosis, Franz Kafka
4. The LOTR series, J.R.R. Tolkien (don't know how I went through childhood not touching any of the books)
5. Catcher in the Rye, J. D. Salinger
6. The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald (because the movie is coming out)
7. The Fountainhead, Ayn Rand (I read about the book and the plot is spoilt for me and I think it sucks. But I'm still curious)
8. Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen (it's on my Dad's mobile, I've read the first chapter out of boredom at work and I'd like to read the rest)
9. Don Quitxote, Miguel de Cervantes
10. Paradise Lost, John Milton
11. Pilgrim's Progress, John Bunyan
12. Kafka on the Shore, Haruki Murakami
13. The Joy Luck Club, Amy Tan
14. The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas

(added 23/06/12)
15. I Am Legend, Richard Matheson (combines two overrated things; vampires and zombies)
16. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams

and there's probably more that I don't remember, I shall add more to the reading list one day.
