So yesterday after a boring week me and Dad hit up Spud Shed when I spotted a huge box containing huge watermelons for the cheapest price in Australia (quote). Watermelons larger than a toddler!

Naturally what that meant was we wanted to buy one, and Dad picked what looked like the smallest watermelon, which was still a rather big watermelon. Then I made granitas out of watermelon and mint. Granitas are a refreshing summer drink that consists of frozen sweetened crushed fruit, and are shaved blocks of ice looking akin to slushies. They are so nice to have after a hard day's work.

Might continue making those refreshing summer desserts and drinks, since I hate consuming warm beverages during the hot summer. What I mean is that it is really frustrating that I now have all the ingredients for miso soup except the tofu, but seeing as it's really hot I would like to go for frozen drinks instead. Something like berry parfait is next on the list.

Also had the opportunity to play Portal 2 co-op as well, and GlaDOS's dialogue is even funnier in co-op! I laughed out so loud on the 'it's so tiring to praise humans for putting an Edgeless Safety Cube into an Edgeless Safety Cube Receptacle' line, but not as loud as when I got shot by an archer in Assassin's Creed and through a glitch managed to be flung halfway across the map, pushed into the ground only to fly back up and died in a spectacular fashion. That might have been an arrow to the knee there.
