My Dreams Online

Been immersing quite a bit with Web 2.0 tools, and Evernote is another program I'm trying to incorporate in a useful productive manner for hunting and stashing various cool things that I find. It's not a very good clipper for web research (OneNote does it better I find) but the fact that it's a cloud based app is good now I have internet access on my phone. I sometimes chuck my lecture notes on there so I can read through them on my mobile on the bus without using a laptop, although I could use my Dropbox instead. I think I've been using it for a month now.

I haven't used it in a collaborative sense, and Evernote actually at base roots is probably as useless as Twitter, or useful as Twitter depending on the way you look at it (good old pen and paper never ceases to triumph over technology). Meanwhile I've found a great way to use Evernote; recording dreams.

I put my mobile phone next to my bed, as soon as I wake up I type in my dream, and it gets immediately uploaded to the server. Then I can edit it, post it and do whatever I want with it on my computer; in this instance I'm going to share it with people like you. My dreams are amusing to read actually (especially 'Dream 7' where I think I'm shopping in Bardot but I'm not; that dream always cracks me up).

You probably think that I'm a weirdo now.
