On the last few days of my stay overseas my brother hogged the computer for the whole night so I never got a chance to put up some posts for quite a while. Now I'm back in Australia, I will start the posts again, starting from Singapore this time.
This will be pretty short, as I only stayed 4 days there, but however that turned to 2 days as the bus trips from Malaysia to Singapore pretty much took up 2 whole days. So, in a effort to pack the most out of 2 days, this is where I went to:
1. Newton Hawker's Center
2. Chinatown
3. Orchard Rd
4. Marina Bay Towers
5. (part of) Esplanade
6. Harbourfront/Vivo City
7. Sentosa Island:
7a. Universal Studios Singapore
7b. Merlion
7c. Part of Sentosa Flowers exhibit
7d. Outside of both Sentosa and Marina Bay casino (which unfortunately, has a above 21 years old limit and a no sandals rule so I couldn't make it in, hence just outside the casino)
7e. 'South most point' of Asia
8. Outside the night safari (made it too late to the zoo, since public transport closes off at 11:30pm we had no choice but to head back home)
9. Swee's new cafe
Not bad for 2 days, however, if I ever go back to Singapore I will love to go to these places that I missed:
1. Little India
2. Singapore Zoo and Night Safari
3. The Eco-Segway ride in Sentosa (my mother refused to let me ride on a Segway, making a disappointed and annoyed brother and me.)
4. Songs of the Sea show in Sentosa
The one ultimate thing I would love to do next time in Singapore but is not feasible at all is to splurge on a DSLR and some good wide angle and tilt-shift lenses, and go on a HDR architectural photo snapping spree.
I'll be making a longer post on Singapore (with pictures) though later.
