2011

It's not a year to look forward to, but it is a crucial year for me of sorts, because as soon as 2011 ends I'll be coming to the fork in the road very soon:

1. By the end of 2011, I'll be turning 20, and I'm afraid I'm going to be the one of the few people who are unemployed, never been clubbing or haven't been to a concert by the age of 20, and although I might will look like a loser, the more important thing is to forget that all of that matters. And move on.

2. By the end of 2011, I'll be finishing my Bachelor of Environmental Design which is a very useless degree, but I can choose to ditch this degree for something else. Or, stick on to Masters. Or take a course at YMA or something like 20 or so of the youth are doing. Or, move to graphic design. Or, pack my bags and leave this place because I've lost all confidence that I can design anything anyway.

3. By the end of 2011 my sister has graduated from high school and my brother has tasted his first year of university. Either way, it will be a tough ride for the two of them.

For some people, the next year is a window of opportunities. I see it as opportunities for more opportunities.
