I do not think it is necessary to blog about this, but if there is a program aptly named 'Backup and Restore' and it claims to backup said contacts, and restore them as well, it should.
Now, I am ever so annoyed at you, because after a factory reset to cure an absolutely dumb problem called 'I-can't-download-anything-from-the-Android-Market', you have created a even stupider problem called 'oh-shit-I-erased-all-my-contacts-and-I-can't-get-them-back' (except for one, called Elle, WTF). On top of that, you're really slow on your 2.1 update. I am annoyed. Very annoyed.
Update 9:29 PM: Actually, now my phone magically got all contacts back this afternoon when someone called. Weird.
